Ray Black Jr will make his sixth start of 2014 in the #08 ScubaLife/NASE Worldwide Chevrolet Friday night under the lights at Texas Motor Speedway for the WinStar World Casino and Resort.
Black's best finish of the 2014 campaign came at Chicagoland in September, in his first visit to a mile-and-a-half speedway. "We did Chicago and we finished 18th so I'm looking for that same result or better at Texas. I believe we are bringing the same truck back and I think we'll have a good opportunity to better that finish," said Black.
"This is going to be a big race for me because we are getting to a faster track again and I'm learning to hold it to the floor a little bit better and hopefully we'll have a good run."
SS Green Light Racing is pleased to announce that Ryan Lynch will pilot the #07 IDLifeRacing.com/BlankHood.com Chevy Silverado.
"I'm so excited that I have the opportunity to race at my home track again," says Lynch. To know that I get to go back to Texas at all is just amazing but I feel like this year is an opportunity for me to really prove I can race at this level. I'm confident that Bobby Dotter and his crew have put together a great truck for me, and I cannot thank him and my long time Super Truck crew chief JR West enough for putting this deal together for me."
Lynch looks not only to top his career best finish but also hopes to take advantage of last year's experience.
